Who We Are
A frithful group of Asatruar and Heathens from Berks County, Pa and the surrounding areas seeking to form personal connections with others, learn by asking questions and discussing lore, share what we know, grow friendships, and find out what local events are going on right now. BCAH was founded in August of 201o as a place for followers of all branches of Heathenry to network with each other, as well as newer followers and the curious public to come and learn about the old religion of northern Europe. We are unaffiliated with any Asatru organization or kindred. There will be an informal heathen meet-up on the FIRST Wednesday of each month from 7PM until 9PM. Check with us for the location, as it does change! The meeting is free, food is pot luck, and for rented locations, there is a $5 suggested contribution per person towards the cost of rent of the location and supplies (paper plates, plastic utensils, etc.) Also, we occasionally have Blot (or Faining) and Sumbel, particularly aimed at those with little or no experience in such rituals. One need not be Heathen, or even "Germanic" to attend. All are welcome to learn and participate as much as they may comfortably do so!
